Carry-on Bag Essentials

As one who travels often, for both business and pleasure, I have developed a habit of being prepared by always traveling with a few essentials in my carry-on bag. My preference is to have a dedicated travel pack that I only use for traveling, but either way here are a few ideas that might help you during your next trip.

Items That “Live” in the Bag

  • Travel Wallet containing my passport, business cards, $100 cash, travel cards (Global entry, Frequent Flyer, Priority Pass, etc.), and a pen.
  • Refillable Water Bottle
  • Reading Glasses (for us old folks)
  • Sleep Kit containing travel pillow, ear plugs and eye mask
  • Spare Ear Bud Headphones
  • Inflatable Lumbar Pillow (saves my back)
  • Snack Bag containing Power Bars, Beef Jerky, Nuts, Mints, etc.
  • Mini First Aid Kit containing Band-Aids, Advil, Disinfectant Wipes, Rolaids, Imodium, Lip Balm, Nail Clippers, Moisturizer lotion, Hand Sanitizer, etc.

Items That are Added Day of Travel
